Advice for stacking the Tarroka deck?

REQUEST FOR HELP / FEEDBACK

I'm still a few weeks out from the start of my CoS campaign, and I've got most of the first session prepped for and ready to go. I'm just stuck on the Tarokka Deck. I know I don't want to leave it up to chance, but I'm having a hard time narrowing things down to a set of Fortunes I feel 'fit' and will provide the most comprehensive and interesting story.

I think for sure I want the Book to go to Van Richten's Tower, since our fighter is the son of a failed Van Rcihten apprentice and that will be a great way to tie in that bit of lore. I'm thinking of the Shrine of Mother or Baba Lysaga's hut for the Holy Symbol, since we have our Cleric is thinking about being a follower of Mother Night, and could have a lot of interesting conflict with Baba Lysaga.

I don't know where I want to put the Sunsword- part of me wants it to be in the Castle itself (possibly in Sergei's tomb?), another part likes the idea of it being in the Amber Temple, because it's a really cool and story wise important set piece.

For Fated Ally I'm considering Godfrey, since that will ensure the players go to Argynvostholt, but I've also considered changing the Mad Mage from Moderenkainen to Gale of Waterdeep, both to nerf the Archmage, and because I have a serious BG3 fan in my group. (I also have an Astarion Cameo in the works- I'm planning on switching up "Dinner with Strahd" into a full on 'vampire masqueraded ball', where Strahd as the first vampire, invites his 'vassals' to Ravenloft in order to flex his power and intimidate the party.)

And for final battle, I really don't have any idea of where would be best. His tomb feels most appropriate but also fairly obvious.

Anyone got any advice? Where have you had the best experience with locations/allies?
