New player questions

My local club is starting a necromunda campaign in a few months, I’ve gone out and bought the Goliath gang and Goliath stimmers and forge born, the guy running it has said we start with 1000 credits and that I can’t give all of my dudes the +1T thing, how do you guys recommend I build my gang and any tips for a complete beginner
