Fixing a ripped canvas??

I recently painted and started threading a canvas. I hated how the colors were clashing so I used a seam ripper to restart the section, in the process ripping my canvas. Is there a way to fix the canvas without completely scrapping the canvas or do I just start over?? Any advice would really help!! Sincerely a frustrated needlepointer 😭
