Need Support

Hi so this is hard to write,

Is their life after mental health?

I'm 43 and have worked and burned myself in the events industry for over 20 years. I have a total job hopper CV that I can barely stomach the idea of trying to defend it in an interview. A mixture of contracts and jobs I've left.

Essentially I have a diagnosis of EUPD /Borderline traits (emotional dysregulation, low self esteem) which has contributed to my inability to deal well with stress. Only took me 20 years to stop running against a brick wall.

I just left my last shit show of a job (two others left after me, so it actually was really bad) where I lasted under 6 months. This job was meant to get me back on the ladder, but I've well and truly fallen off it yet again. (I had been on disability last year and I've had to reapply.)

My mental health is bad, I'm linked in with the public service and due to start my second attempt at DBT Skills course.

I'm currently linkedIn with a counselor but I'm looking at finding maybe a schema focussed therapist to really help me with my root cause.

My confidence is at an all time low, and I'm losing hope, I feel like I'm in a life "cul de sac."

I'm single, live with my elderly mother and family are at a total loss with me, as I am with myself.

Where do I go from here? My degree was in Marketing 20 years ago and I have a Master's in Management and right now I'm not managing.

Anyone have any pearls of wisdom, I'd be very grateful.
