New fan from the U.S

I just started watching soccer (football for yall) and I decided I need a team to cheer for. Newcastle has a cool logo and nice jerseys so I’m a fan of this team now. I’ve watched a couple games already. I would like to know the history of this team and the success they had. Also what can I expect from this team. I’m happy to be here and not be a bandwagon for the popular good teams in the U.S
