Career help

I’m finishing my master’s in cybersecurity and my end goal is a Security Analyst role. I currently have two job options and I’m trying to decide which would better support that long-term path.

One role is a Terminal Deployment Specialist at a payment processor, focused on onboarding merchants, configuring payment terminals and gateways, troubleshooting transaction issues, and supporting payment systems.

The other is a Computer Operations Technician at a high school, focused on IT support, Windows device setup, asset management, helpdesk tickets, and supporting staff and students.

From a cybersecurity career standpoint (resume value, exposure, long-term trajectory), I’d like to know which job is better to take.
