Getting to Danforth GO getting off at Guildwood vs Union

Let’s say I’m taking a train into Toronto if the train arrives at Guildwood at 12:58 would it be better to get off there and catch the westbound 1:12 LE to Union there rather then go to Union where it’ll be a tight connection from 1:18 to 1:20.
