Why do a lot of Bible users elevate the Strong's Concordance higher than it should deserve.
It is immediately useful to look up what Hebrew or Greek word is used in a text and see how it might be translated in other parts, but it is not useful for language learning or primary language reading, and I'm wondering why it's so used, because I've noticed it's popular in a lot of spaces that are traditionally for language learning use it, to give you an example, I recently bought a new BDB lexicon because the one I used was at its breaking point, and after I bought it I noticed that the Strong's numbers were used, and I don't know why considering that the BDB literally tells you each spot the current Hebrew word you're looking at appears in, so why is Strong's Concordance recommended and used in so many primary language learning tools when it is really only useful for looking up what Hebrew or Greek word is used in the English translation?
