How long does it generally take to start enjoying a dildo?

I bought a medium sized dildo a few days ago, I picked a regular size (6 inches) since it’s my first time using one (I’m virgin). I put it in after struggling for a minute, it felt uncomfy as expected, but I kept playing with it until it got completely in, but I didn’t feel anything, neither pain or pleasure, even after trying different poses, I’m starting to think that is not big enough.
