Finding my old scrapbooks made me realize how much play has changed.

I was in my attic yesterday when it was raining outside. I found this box of things I had kept from a long time ago. Going through the box was really strange. It made me think about the past. I saw some pictures from my birthday party when I was ten years old. I thought about how we used to have fun when we were kids. We did not have tablets or spend hours on the internet all the time. We just played in our backyards, building forts and playing house. We made a lot of things with paper and glue.

I remember this one summer when my cousins and I wanted to start a museum in our neighborhood. We picked up rocks and put them in a special place. We also pressed flowers between the pages of heavy books.. We saved the colorful paper that came with our favorite wax candy. We thought this was really cool and that people would want to see it. We even thought people would pay money to see the things we collected. I looked for some of these things on Jumia and Alibaba a few months ago so I could show them to my kids but didn't really find anything like that. I honestly want my kids to have that kind of childhood.
