PSA you can advocate for survivors without sharing images.

Exactly as this title says. I know that people are angry and want to raise awareness and fight but please put the survivors first. Sharing a picture that while redacted heavily implies what is occurring in the picture does not bring the survivors justice. It adds to their trauma. And getting mad at people saying it's unnecessary does not help survivors either because now you have triggered other survivors and are telling them to sit in the discomfort. We don't have to sit in it we lived it. I did un follow them but their replies were full of people piling on others saying it wasn't the best idea sharing the photo.

Yes I want people to do something and I understand we are all angry but there are better ways to go about it.
