Meta Ray Bans Gen 2 DOA?

I purchased my pair today at LensCrafters with my new prescription.

Got them home, the speakers work and I am able to play music to them. However, it’s like the microphone and capture do not work at all. I have factory reset the glasses, the case, unpaired multiple times and I am just not understanding where things have gone wrong. I am on an IPhone 17 pro max if that matters.

The case is currently at 99% and the glasses are at 92% after yet another attempt at a factory restart. The support for this isn’t great either that you either use an AI or get articles that don’t cover the issues.

Anyone run into this and have any other suggestions? I am a little sad that it’s looking like I’m going to have to go through the hoops of replacing them.
