Battery draining fast after iOS update + health dropping, should I be worried about my iPad Air M3?
I bought my iPad Air M3 last August, and my battery health has already dropped to 94% with a cycle count of 121 (probably because I use it almost every day for school). I updated to iOS 26 last December, and ever since then, the maximum capacity seems to drop by about 1% every 13–14 days. Is this normal, or is my battery degrading too quickly?
I’ve also heard the M3 models have had some battery issues. On top of that, since updating to iOS 26, my battery has been draining pretty fast (it used to last all day at school, but recently it doesn’t anymore). Now I’m wondering if this was the right choice or if I should’ve gone with the 11th gen instead since it’s cheaper (though I’ve also heard the newer ones bend easily).
What would be the best course of action here? Should I just keep using it, get the battery checked, or consider selling it while it’s still in good condition? Would really appreciate any advice from people who’ve experienced the same thing.
