Anyone able to pair ONN Streaming box remote to their Sansui TV?

I recently purchased Sansui S55VOUG 55" OLED TV.

For my streaming device, I own the popular budget friendly ONN Streaming Box. The remote for the streaming device is not pairing up with the TV. Remote tries the 4 different codes that are programmed and none of them are working.

I was wondering if anyone has a solution for this. Perhaps a workaround, like a different TV brand to try.. all I am trying is to get the remote to be able to turn on/off the TV and control volume. I don't want to use the TV's original remote since its too bulky and uncessary for simple streaming navigation.
