Born of Blood and Ash review

Okay, FBAA pissed me off so badly I went back to F&F from the beginning. I just spent the last week re-listening to all the books since I hadn't gotten to the latest release yet.

I've seen a few people bitching about this book saying it was as bad as PoBaB. I have to whole heartedly disagree.

However, I do have a couple complaints. Which is 100000000 times better than PoBaB because wholly shit that book was an absolute atrocity.

anyway, I HATED the flip from 3rd back to 1st person POV in the beginning and end.

I HATED the epilogue. Like bitch... how dare you summarize an ENTIRE war. Do we know of she's still planning more books for F&F? if not, she done fucked up on using PoBaB as a cash grab when she could so EASILY used F&F to guarantee ongoing sales. Why would you summarize the war that's been talked about over and over and over again between both series? She's lost the plot. Everything was summarized after Kolis was entombed. What about the twins? The Epilogue was a cop out if it's the true ending. if it's not well then ignore all of this 😂💀

and... probably the most dumbfounding thing of all... I was tired of the sex scenes. I wanted the plot and yes.. I love daddy Nyktos and Sera. More now than I ever have. but idgaf about the sex. it was predictable and dry. The plot however, was everything I wanted and more.

anyway, that's my rant. 🤣 the rest was amazing. 🤷🏽‍♀️ what are your thoughts?
