How to should I (23m) approach asking this girl out to a date?
Hey, so yesterday I posted this thread: https://www.reddit.com/r/AskMenAdvice/s/w1rSkBhZZN
Firstly, I would like to thanks everyone.
Strangely, for the first time, I actually feel more excited to try, than nervous about it.
So here goes:
I have her phone number since I am in the same church group chat as her, but I really think asking her out by message would be a huge miss...
We will probably meet again in person the next week's sunday, since she generally sings in the last dunday of each month in Church.
Should I ask her for 5 minutes after mass to get an opportunity to talk more privately?
How should I phrase it?
I was thinking of something short like:
"Hey, sorry if this ends up embarrassing or weird. I just think you are a nice person. So if you ever feel like it, we could go out to get a coffee and talk. I pay..."
Like I said, she seems like a really nice girl, so I don't want to make her fell pressured either.
Also, I don't want to make things awkward for her after this.
I think I should go with the expectation of a rejection in mind, right?
Internally, I won't be sad even if she says no, since I really wish her the best.
I just don't want to make her feel weirded out about talking to me just as friends in case she says no....
