Break in period question

Hey all. Recently picked up a 2026 m60i.

Absolutely love it. However, the overall power and responsiveness seems muted for a 500hp vehicle. I know there is the break in period and it does allow your over a certain RPM. My question is, is there more than just an RPM limit with this break in period? Even under that limit seems a little underwhelming.

I'm happy they restrict it and will continue to be soft on it for the first 1k per recommendations.
