dental issues and weed

I have two abscesses in my mouth. I have missing teeth and stuff. I’ve been done with dental stuff for years now. But I haven’t really stopped smoking. I don’t have the money to fix my teeth and I haven’t for a very, very long time so I’ve kinda just been content with it. I haven’t had any dry sockets or anything like that, but I worry that the reason why my dental issues are so bad or not just because I neglected brushing my teeth as a kid, but I started smoking really early. I still don’t think I’m gonna stop completely at some point, but I’ve significantly cut down since then and I’ve just been thinking about it and wanted to put my story out there in case anybody else can relate to it.
