Accessing kitchen faucet cartridge
Can someone tell me how to access the cartridge for this faucet? This single handle design controls the kitchen faucet that came with our house, no idea of the brand. I popped off the little access cover and can unscrew the small Allen screw inside. However, at that point, the handle remains in place even if I lift up.
Maybe things are just stuck together and I need to pull harder? I do notice there's a seam in the base, which looks like it may be made of 2 parts that might screw together; I tried without any luck to unscrew the top bit from the bottom, but it's hard to get any real grip on that short bit at the top.
