Looking for an anime-styled single-player game with an MMO-feeling grind

Hey everyone

I’m looking for a game that captures a very specific itch: an anime-styled single-player game that feels like an MMO. I really miss that classic MMO feeling of just zoning out and being in caves for hours to grind for loot and levels.

Past MMOs I loved: Elsword & Nostale
These had that perfect anime aesthetic and the exact kind of grind I'm nostalgic for. I miss the feeling of repeating dungeons or camping mob spawn maps for hours just to get that satisfying class progression and loot.

Single-player games I loved:

CrossCode**:** The vibe was spot on since it literally takes place inside a fictional MMO. I really enjoyed the combat and progression but to be honest the puzzles were a pain.

Rune Factory 4**:** This just hit all the right parts of my brain. It can be grindy as hell which I absolutely loved! Especially how you can literally grind and level up every single action in the game on top of the endless dungeon crawling and farming.

Fantasy Life: I absolutely loved the gameplay loop of switching "Lives" and maxing out every single gathering, crafting, and combat class. The grind felt a bit too short for me, but it was incredibly satisfying (I'm glad the devs are still working on the series, though!).

The Atelier Games: These have amazing crafting and grinding loops. Going out to gather materials and grinding through the deep alchemy systems to min-max my gear kept me hooked.
