Ser Duncan the Tall Died?

Have not read the books, but I do feel that on the show, Ser Duncan actually did die because of how lifeless he was, not breathing for a while and Prince Aerion, who is well trained, recognized he was dead and didn't press the attack. I feel Dunk was brought back by the gods, the "miracle" that they were speaking about, similar to how R'hllor was bringing people back, like Jon. Could also explain how he's still alive in the vision with a dead dragon on top of him. Just wanted to see if anyone had a similar thought?
