Ramadan working hours question

Good morning all!

Im working in Abu Dhabi, a semi-govermental company, my employer has announced reduced working hours during Ramadan (6 hours per day instead of 8), but specified that this reduction only applies to Muslim employees who are fasting. Non-fasting employees are required to work the normal 8-hour schedule. Is this practice compliant with UAE labour law?
