Housing window

Hi so I’m a incoming freshman that got into csuf. I just found out right now that the housing application window opened up on the 2nd. It’s the 16th right now. I’m panicking really bad because I heard the housing stuff is first come first serve. I’m really worried that I won’t get housing because I only live 30 minutes away and I’m not priority in that sense. I need to get out of my house also for certain reasons and I don’t wanna stay living at home. I also couldn’t get in anywhere else with dorms. I just accepted the admission offer right now, and it says it’ll take 2-3 business days to be able to see the housing portal. Will I still be able to get housing if I apply now?
