Post covid ear ringing

26M, i had covid 2 weeks ago. after the first week, I was feeling a lot better but noticed a high pitched eeeeeeee sound in my left ear mostly, some in the right. I can usually drown it out with tv or music. is this something that will likely clear with time? can't say i noticed ringing in my ears pre covid. doctor said i don't have an ear infection. I should add when I plug my ears ringing is pretty much gone.
