Community for younger people?

I grew up in Kelowna, moved abroad for a while, and recently came back and honestly, it feels exactly the same as when I left. I’m struggling to find community based activities for people my age who aren’t in university or college.

A lot of the activities I see (like workout classes, organized programs, etc.) are pretty expensive, which makes it harder to get involved regularly. I’m sure there’s more of a built-in community if you’re attending school, but for those of us who aren’t — what do people actually do to meet others and feel connected here?

I’ve seen some Redditors mention DND groups, run clubs, and queer groups (which I’d definitely be interested in), but I haven’t personally come across much.

I’d genuinely love to know how other people around my age are finding community in Kelowna.
