Very confusing diagnostics, need advice!

(F19, soon to be 20) Hello! I’ve decided to consult reddit because my mind keeps running in circles and when i tried to look for answers on safari I got a bunch of scary results as usual.

For a quick overview, since 2024, there’s been weird benign findings. (ESPECIALLY recently). A year ago I was suspected of POTS, I fit every criteria except for fainting and the diagnosis requirement of my heart rate going up a certain BPM as I stood up. Regardless I took this diagnosis as my own and visited a POTS physical therapist who really did suspect I had it and showed me some ways to exercise. Around the end of 2024 I had to quit my job completely due to me being in pain and unable to complete any tasks. this would go on to happen at my next two jobs across the course of a few months. I worked ONE SHIFT as a hostess and quit immediately because i was in the most excruciating physical pain ever despite only walking and standing in place for a few hours.

Fast forward to October 2025, a PE clot is found in my left lung and i’m put on the absolute bane of my existence. blood thinners. I experience chest pain & numbness in my arms and face like i never have before. Chest pain becomes normal to me every day but has recently diffused. two weeks later they find spontaneous pneumomediastinum on two separate occasions. so i’m hospitalized in the ICU in intense pain for this benign thing so they can figure out what’s happening. Of course, my answers are “pain isn’t associated with that” “you shouldn’t be having pain because of that”

This past friday, I found my way in the ER again for hours for the worst stomach pain of my life. They find “free fluid” that is of course, benign and not supposed to be painful. I’m NOW today experiencing slightly bloody stools and am going back and forth on panic and rationing. Only thing I can come up with right now is that I’ve noticed my stomach has been hurting since I started Zonegran. I do not want to end up in the ER again for hours and have them tell me nothings wrong but I also don’t want to ignore something bad. It’s a gamble.

WHAT is going on with my body!!? i’ve never ever experienced anything like this until the POTS thing. Have there been any records of other people having these benign findings while experiencing chronic pain? I feel so lost and it’s a struggle to even hold a job. Any advice helps. ❤️

(I currently am taking Eliquis 5mg, Zonegran 100mgx2 for migraines, gabapentin 100mgx3, and other as needed meds. i mostly take robaxin 750mg as needed for my pain.)
