Do you think Sarah Connor ever considered having several more kids and naming them all John?

I mean, knowing Skynet was desperate enough to resort to time travel to kill John, it would have at the very least been a decent trick to slow down any time travelers and use the other Johns as decoys to protect the real John.

Sure, no one likes using innocent children as decoys and/or bait, but when it comes to the future of humanity and the resistance, I mean, it’s good to take a little precaution.

And of course, it’s not like they HAVE to be sacrifices for the greater good of humanity. We should totally try to save the fake Johns, just not at the expense of the real John and the fate of humanity.

They don’t even have to be her biological kids. She could adopt, foster, kidnap, whatever, and legally change their name to John.

Maybe Skynet has enough records to rule out most of them, and it wouldn’t work. Maybe it wouldn’t slow down a T-800 or T-1000 very much, or maybe it would. Given the methods of the terminators from the first two movies, I think it’d be a safe bet that it’d slow it down at least somewhat. At the very least, it doesn’t seem likely to hurt.

Think of how close the T-1000 came to killing John in T2. If Sarah had been listed first in the phone book in T1 that would have been it. Or second.

Maybe I’m missing something, but I would think that creating dozens upon dozens of John Connors, all the son of a Sarah Connor, all born around the same time, would have been much more effective in aiding humanity and the resistance than trying to blow up a computer factory, which was really doomed to fail from the start, leading her to be incarcerated and making her son more vulnerable to time traveling terminators.
