Should I study dentistry or law?

Hi everyone, I'm new here and I'm from Brazil. I'm in my last year of high school and I'm DESPERATE to decide which course I want to take.

I decided to study dentistry some time ago, but every day I see more and more professionals saying that it's not worth it and that it's super undervalued, which worries me because I'm not an heiress, and it's an extremely expensive course, I'll have to work to pay for the necessary materials.

On the other hand, I'm very interested in law, I really like legal and political issues, but it wasn't an option for me because I don't like debating and I feel very uncomfortable speaking in public, so I quickly ruled it out. However, I researched it more thoroughly and saw that it's a very good area for those who decide to take public service exams, something that interests me a lot.

That's when my doubt between the two courses grew, one of them being in the health field, direct contact with people, an expensive course, an investment with a long-term return, and VERY EXPENSIVE. The other one is geared towards the legal field, but it involves a lot of debate, argumentation, and a lot of competition.

What should I consider when choosing between the two?
