I'm new to Nietzsche (roast me) and currently reading thus spake zarathustra (again, roast me, I'm a cliché). I have to stop reading every now and then to laugh because I had caution going into this read due to some associations. It is completely antithetical to all that nonsense. What strikes me is the poetic nature, is this most exhibited in this book or does he communicate his ideas like this in all his work? It feels like it is still as relevant today as when it was written. So I also laugh at the idea of a piece like this being written in the current day. Thus Commenteth Zarathustra.
Anyway, it is refreshing and motivationally optimistic for individuality in my opinion. If I were to read another of his books in the future, would I be getting more of the same or does he cover other ideas? I know some tend to specialise and somewhat rewrite the same idea in different ways.
