AI quietly fired half my SaaS stack (and saved me $34/month)**

I run a small agency.
Like everyone else, I had a mini graveyard of “$12/month just in case” tools.

Did a full audit this year.
Surprisingly, a few AI tools didn’t add value — they replaced stuff.

Here’s what changed:

• Proactor → replaced Otter + manual Asana copying
Records, transcribes, extracts tasks.
Cancelled Otter. Saved admin time weekly.

• ChatSlide → replaced Canva Pro (for decks)
Generates slides from an outline.
Downgraded Canva to free.

• Makeform → replaced Typeform
AI builds the form from a prompt.
Same logic features. Free for my needs.

• Jobright → replaced LinkedIn Premium (for prospecting)
Surfaces companies hiring roles matching my services.
More relevant leads. Premium gone.

• Walnut → consolidated personal branding chaos
Keeps bios & profiles synced.
Not a replacement, but real time saved.

Before: $84/month
Now: ~ $50/month
Less tools. Less noise. Less context switching.

Anyone else had a “wait… I can actually cancel this?” moment thanks to AI lately?

I'm not pushing any product in this post, I'm just describing the actual changes ;) Any recommendations?
