Third kid? What changes from 2 to 3?

How do I know if I want a third kid?

On the one hand, I love the flow with my two kids, 4.5 and 1.5. On the other hand, I am sad thinking about never nursing again, never having a sweet newborn again, never doing pregnancy and all that again. I feel like I’m not ready to leave that experience behind forever. Husband will support whatever—he wouldn’t ask me to endure a pregnancy I didn’t want, but would be excited for a third. Current kids are happy and healthy and wonderful.

I’m concerned about messing up the sweet friendship between my two girls by introducing another cast member. I’m concerned about shifting from closely tied mother to manager/referee. I’m concerned about my current little one getting overlooked as a middle child. Im minorly concerned about workload/income bc I know I’d need to work less to do the additional home related work.
