Saving up to buy a road bike!
Hi Team!
My rollers are collecting dust in a corner of my basement, and my touring/gravel bike needs a sibling. I CAN FULLY JUST BUY ANOTHER BIKE. But, I want to enjoy the process of saving up for it and romanticizing the journey. Also, I love a goal. so....
The bikes:
I want a basic roadie. I liked either the Trek Domane AL 2 or the Specialized Allez base model.
The Kit:
I've never really ever bought roadie gear like jerseys, shoes, leggings??, and a helmet.
Total:
I've estimated $2143 CAD all in, except I know I didn't include pedals...
I'm going to take $100 off of each pay cheque, so if all goes well January of 2027 I'll be able to buy a nice new road bike and kit (minus pedals) and I'm excited about it!
