what can i do in NYC as a broke teen ?

I’m 17 and I feel like I never actually do anything around the city. I wanna start going out more and doing stuff on my own, but I don’t really know where to start.

What are some fun things I can do solo in NYC? Could be places, activities, spots to explore, anything. I’m open to trying new things and just wanna experience the city more. Any suggestions
