Question about the HESI exam

This summer I’m applying for the spring semester nursing program at TCC. I’m taking my last prerequisite classes and will be taking my teas exam soon. Lately I’ve seen on Reddit people mentioning the HESI exam that I had no idea about… and is not mention in the nursing information packet. Like when do I take it? I’m so confused at this point.
