Eldritch cleric found dead?

I really wanted to play an eldritch domain cleric from grim hollow in a candlekeep campaign but now im learning that my dm doesnt consider great old ones as elligible to be a "god" of a cleric and I may not be allowed to take the subclass. The problem is that Ive already played him as being very eldritch-ey and I dont want to play a warlock. We also dont have any other healer. Ive also already taken the feats eldritch adept and cult initiate. Is there some way this could work out without me scrapping the character? Maybe the trickery domain im thinking but that doesnt solve the problem of the GOO's not being eligible as gods.
