What was your plan for leaving the church?

Curious if anyone else thought about leaving the church like a long term goal to work towards, and what steps they'd take and when.

First stop helping in ministry, stop saying amen during group prayers, stop going to church, tell non christian friends, tell family etc etc.

At one point I even had it all written out lol
