Questions from a self studier
I am self studying AP SPLANG because they messed up my schedule and wouldn't let me change it. Since the beginning of the school year, I've been studying up on the culture of a lot of different Spanish-speaking countries in terms of the products, practices, and perspectives. However, I feel like I do not know enough about the six themes. I know there's a lot of overlap between the 3 P's and the 6 themes, so I am not completely lost. With that being said, I'm curious about the scope of the exam.
- For the "Science and Ethics" portion of Science and Technology, does that mostly relate to the popular fields of study and the important figures? Or is there more to it?
- Is there a specific country I should study more specifically? I feel like I can't study everything for each country, and I'm not sure if that's the expectation.
- Since I'm comparing a Spanish-speaking culture to my own culture during the cultural comparison part, am I allowed to lie about the elements of my own culture? I'm curious because they probably only care about the Spanish speaking culture, right?
