Elan Ripstick or bust???

Hey all! I’ve been loving my 94 Ripsticks 154cm W, but I’m considering looking for another ski specifically for on piste days.

I’m an intermediate to advanced skier (5’3 or 160cm, 125lbs) who loves to carve aggressively but also hit a bumped out thin east coast trail.

I have shift bindings on the Elans currently and use them for EVERYTHING touring and pure resort days (glades included), but I’ve noticed some unpredictability in the crud at speed for a for a true single quiver east coast ski.

Granted I have a feeling the unpredictability would be fixed with a sharpen, but I feel like the Elans are truly a great option for a single quiver ski. Do y’all think I should look for a truly on piste ski or sharpen the ripsticks and see how hard they can really go?

Any and all opinions are welcome!! I just want as much information as possible before I consider shelling out any more money 😅
