Bug on FF7 remake Nintendo Switch 2 version… Can’t progress… Advice?

I completed every chapter 14 side quest up to this one. I went down into the Sewer with Leslie, and there was immediately a cut scene where said he would hang behind us. He then started leaning against a wall near the beginning.

I went through the entire sewer without Leslie and found a small door blocked with wood about halfway to Corneo’s stash. I couldn’t get through. Something seemed wrong, so I decided to look it up why I couldn’t move forward in the story.

In the walk-throughs I found, the sewer should cut to a scene where monsters steal something from Leslie? This didn’t happen for me. He is stuck on that wall. I believe it’s a bug.

I went all the way back to Leslie, and he is still leaning against the wall.

How do I trigger this quest to continue? Any advice? My last save is far enough back I would abandon the game before starting from there.

I’ve tried resetting the game, going in and out of sewers, and killing all monsters in sewers. Nothing worked.

Can I restart this quest somehow?
