Can I, as an 18 year old, own a non-semiautomatic long gun? (Non-NYC)

I am turning 18 tomorrow and am very invested in guns of all kinds. I’ve been researching the laws on it and have seen that non-semi long guns are legal to own under 21, but I don’t know if that’s outdated. I’m too lazy to look up the state laws, can someone tell me? I live in Saratoga County, not sure what that changes.
