Need some help with modding Beta!

Hi! After watching a lot of YouTube videos about early versions of Minecraft I became interested in playing 1.7.3. I used to play old pocket edition and legacy console so seeing how similar it was made me decide to relive that early version of the game that got me so invested as a kid. :)

I did notice that some of the QOL features I'm used to with modern Minecraft weren't added to this version and I was just curious if there were any mods that add specifically inventory hotkeys (changing keys 1-9) or a mod that adds an FOV slider since the normal FOV gives me a headache after a while. I also wanted to try re-adding my skin to the old version, and was curious if there was a mod or launcher that allows me to add that (I use slim skin on modern but I don't mind using the classic blocky skin for playing beta).

tl;dr, Looking for an FOV slider mod, hotbar hotkey mod, and to a lesser extent re-add the slim player model with skin support.
