Built a 60-second visual intake for massage therapy - your thoughts/ideas?

Hi everyone - I may be overthinking this, but hear me out.

I've been getting massages for several years now, and every single time (even with the same therapist after a month) I find myself answering the same questions:

  • "What pressure do you like?"
  • "Any areas to focus on or avoid?"
  • "Music or quiet?"
  • "Room too cold?"

And then we spend like 5-10 minutes talking while I'm lying there thinking "the clock is ticking..."

I know my therapist wants this info ahead of time so he/she can actually prepare, but there's no easy way to send it. So we do the whole song and dance every session.

So I made something. A visual body map where you tap where you want focus, tap where to avoid, set your preferences (pressure, music, room temp, all that) and it takes like 60 seconds. Then you just send a link.

I threw together a working demo to see if the idea even makes sense: https://mm6fwk.csb.app/ (click "Try Demo" to see what I mean)

But honestly, I don't know if this is solving a real problem or if I'm just annoyed by something that doesn't bother anyone else.

Genuine question: Do you feel the same frustration with intake, or am I the only one who thinks about this stuff? Would you actually use something like this or is it overkill?

Moderators: If you find anything that violates the rules, please let me know so I can adjust the messaging. I am genuinely seeking feedback.
