When an interviewer starts pressing you about job hopping, that's not a red flag on you. It's a red flag on them.
The companies with the worst internal drama are always the ones that focus heavily on why you left your last few jobs. If the interviewer is obsessed with the idea of you staying with them long-term, it's a huge sign they can't retain employees. They have a high turnover problem, and they know it. They're basically worried you'll find out why people leave and then take off just like them.
A good company, where people are genuinely happy, doesn't care much about this. They know the market is competitive and that talented people will always look for better opportunities. They are so confident in their culture and management that they believe you're the one who *will want* to stay with them. And if you decide to leave, they're also confident they'll find another talented person to fill your spot. So, follow your gut. If you feel like they're interrogating you about your work history, that's your cue to look elsewhere. Believe me, there are far better places to work.
