Fair?

I am very new to dynasty basketball so have no clue how to value players or picks other than I’ve heard “draft picks are worth a lot less than in dynasty football”. (Also sorry if I’m breaking subreddit rules).

My orphan team STINKS, but I do have Kevin Durant who seems like he could provide some value to a contender. Would I be getting fleeced if I tried to trade him for Jaren Jackson? The Jackson manager seemed intrigued which of course makes me nervous I’m making a terrible mistake.

Also if anyone has general advice for dynasty basketball, I am clay waiting to be molded lol.
