Melee weapon glitch

Is there anyone else besides me having melee weapons break in one hit. It started last night when I noticed that my Cappy Smasher after being fixed at the workshop that it would break the moment I hit an enemy? I switched lobbies with no luck. Then I got some repair kits and that was working up until about an hour ago. I've also noticed that my Weapon Artisan perk has no affect when repairing. But guns are working fine.
