My husband is gang affiliated, I think we need to move

I need to explain because this is a little complicated. mostly everyone in this area is Hispanic, including me. my husband is actually white. when he was a kid he got into a lot of trouble, didn’t have the best upbringing. one of his close childhood friends was a girl and in the same grade as him and he would always look out for her, and her older brother was a respected gang member, and he knew he was looking out for his sister and would always look out for him and protect him. when he was a little older he got into some trouble and was in juvenile hall. word got around and the gang members that were in the same gang as his friends brother, protected him in Juvie.

Once he was out, he was still close with a lot of those people and hung out with them.

he still is today with a few of them. I didnt know this until recently, we live in a very safe area now, but this still makes me very worried. he was never in a gang, never jumped in, nothing tattooed, but we have children. I feel like a target could be on my back. maybe I’m over-reacting, but my cousin was a gang member, on the other side and very bad things happened to him.
