Breeze experience was horrible
We all have our own preferences and priorities when booking air travel. Nonstop, schedule, price, etc. I've flown over 4MM on the Big 3, and more in Asia and Europe. I recently tried Breeze because I was lured by the non-stop flight. I will NEVER do that again. Like all airlines, they had a mechanical issue tonight, so the departure is nearly 7 hours late and will arrive at 5am instead of 10 pm the night before (and I doubt it will even go due to pilot curfews), but they won't cancel it. The worst part: their customer service (available only by text....not even from the gate agent at the ticket counter can help ...said the next available flight would be in 14 days. Seriously? They won't refund the ticket (only credit)....like I'm gonna try this again!!! And I feel sorry for the gate agents as they are as frustrated as the passengers. They are getting no information, and are told by corporate that customers have to use the texting to make other arrangements. There apparently is no limit to David Neeleman's greed. Make your own decision, of course, on the air travel that suits you best, but I'm one and done with Breeze. I got a flight home tomorrow on Delta...a real airline with more than a couple planes, limited crew, poor customer service and a grandiose wish.
