If the series ends with Ellie sacrificing herself for a cure will you be dissatisfied?

I would be quite disappointed

How would the cure be even distributed, how would it affect the infected?

Ellie’s immune but still gets targeted like any other. So the cure being effective to what extent?

To me the only way the impact of Ellie’s sacrifice would work is if the cure would somehow eradicate all the infected, but even that sounds like a asspull ending

The world isn’t going to be fixed by having a cure

Joel’s decision in part 1 makes sense in many ways imo

I honestly would like it even if a very predictable story direction is if she finds someone to take care of and ends up truly understanding Joel’s position, along with reuniting Abby and Ellie to have healing and closure on Joel’s/Abbys Dad past choices..
