Does anyone relate?

Ask ExJW

22M POMO. I’ve been awake for a long time, “inactive” for about 2 years now. I moved congregations (Creole to English) from my family’s 4 years ago. Read a couple reddits on here and one day I was inspired and just stopped going to meetings, answering texts, and calls. My immediate family already knows the deal now. I’ve fought hard to get to where I am now. Im still pretty financially dependent on my PIMI family (soon to be independent). Others ( grandparents, cousins, and brothers and sisters) don’t know about my status but I still see them around. I would say I’m in the sweet spot rn. I still see brothers and sisters around cuz of my family. They “love” me. They ask how my hall is and I say “I’m sure everyone’s good”. Culturally it’s nice because Haitians are very loving. Obviously the love is not real and soon enough everyone will catch on. I would like to know for anyone who can relate how they’ve navigated life from a situation similar to mine.
