Flexor tendon injury

Does anyone have experience with flexor tendon injury?

My girl has had a limp for the past week (X-rays & exam ruled out fractures or CCL), even after rest now her digit is lying flat today. I’m suspecting flexor injury. Any insight on this? My vet prescribed 2 weeks rest but I’m afraid that won’t do the trick.
